Want to learn about holistic health? The Nourish program creates a space for students to share their own healing food and herbal traditions while learning to use food and herbs as medicine. Taught by a licensed health care provider and certified herbal educator, Nourish brings community members together in local classrooms and gardens. Students will make their own healthy snacks and herbal preparations while learning wellness practices like breathing exercises, walking meditation and more. This free program covers: Introduction to Holistic Health, Food as Medicine, Botany, Digestive Health, Endocrine Health, Mental and Emotional Health, Heart Health, Immune Health, Respiratory Health, Urinary Health, Reproductive Health, Skin and Joint Health, Seasonal Eating and more! Sign up for a Nourish Workshop, a Nourish Module of 4 thematically connected classes or the 16 week Community Herbalist program.
Rise Up Nourish is completely scholarship based; there are no fees for students accepted into the program. Nourish students will be invited to create Nourish events for their communities.
